Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern the supply of goods and services by Optiondiscoveryhub. By placing an order or booking our services you accept these Terms. We may update terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies to new bookings.

  1. Quotations & acceptance: Quotes are valid for the period stated. A booking is accepted when a deposit is paid or written confirmation is provided.
  2. Deposits & final payment: A non-refundable deposit secures the date. Final payment is due as set in the booking confirmation.
  3. Menu changes & dietary requirements: Final guest numbers and dietary requests must be confirmed within the timeframe in your quote. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate allergies; clients must notify us of severe allergies in writing.
  4. Prices: Prices include the stated services. Travel, venue fees and GST (where applicable) will be itemised.

Australian Consumer Law & Refunds

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), consumers have guarantees for services that they receive. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights that cannot be excluded under the ACL.

Refunds & cancellations: Refunds are provided where services are not delivered, or there is a failure to meet consumer guarantees. Cancellations by the client are subject to the deposit and cancellation terms set at booking.

Faulty or inadequate service: If you are not satisfied, contact us promptly so we can investigate and, where appropriate, offer a remedy such as re-performance, replacement or refund in accordance with ACL.

Food safety, allergens & compliance

We follow Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) guidance and state food safety regulations. Our team maintains appropriate training, food handling certification, transport controls and temperature monitoring.

Clients must notify Optiondiscoveryhub of allergies and intolerances in writing. While we adopt segregation protocols, cross-contamination risk cannot be completely eliminated in a professional kitchen environment.
